Its my Fridaaaaaay!

To the rest of you suckers its only Tuesday, but in my crazy world its Friday!! Which is great and very very much needed.  Tomorrow my agenda is to get some serious writing done and cut the grass.  After that I am headed to the Pirate game with Jordan. Not entirely sure how many other people are coming with us (if any) but its going to be a good time no matter what. It will be my first game of the season, hopefully the first of many.

Back to the writing, I think my full time job is making my writing for fun job suffer lol.  I can't post things nearly as often as I would like to, on any of my blogs or sites I write for. I am going to have to work on that more.

On another random note I downloaded Instagram for my iphone.  I wasnt sure I would like it because it just seemed like yet another photo app that I would delete after not using.  I was wrong! I love it!  I love that I can share the pics with people and check out there pics too.  I am following a lot of really bad ass tattoo artists already on there.  The art work some of these folks do is CRAZY good.  (I admit I am a bit of a tattoo junkie)

I will get into tattoos in another post.... that will be a good one.

As for now I am going to catch up on some of my cram packed DVR.  NCIS here I come!

Huge walk off homer tonight from Rod Barajas.  Its about time he came to life at the plate.  The Pirates really needed a win like this at home, maybe it is the fire they need to get going on a little bit of a streak.  Here's hoping for a sweep!!

Another Day Another Dollar

Today I spent my morning being extremely lazy..... And loved every single minute of it. Then I headed to work where I got a lot of anger thrown my direction. I understand the anger but they have to realize.... Its not my call. Anyway, found out today my dad broke his foot, never a good thing. I offered to get him a motorized scooter thing but noooooo he was all grumpy and not in the joking mood. Wellllll then fine. Tried to use my debit card again today. Its expired. It wont work. My new one isnt here. Pretty sure I may be the poorest person with money in the bank..... Only cause i am to stubborn to actually go into the bank and get cash. I should go to sleep, i have to get up early tomorrow.

Crazyness

Wow, so things have been amazingly crazy lately for me.  Work work work..... oh well.  Its okay because I really enjoy my job.  Scary though, this is the first job I have had since college that I have actually enjoyed.  Anyway on to other things, my grass was so high in my tiny yard that I am pretty sure I could have bailed hay out of it when I cut it.  Now its just laying in the yard looking all horrible, the neighbors probably hate me.  Now that my neighbors are normal people and not crackheads I bet they notice things like this.  Last summer I probably could have let my grass grow to the moon and no one would have noticed.

On another note, I am getting ready to go to work, so I do all the normal stuff.... brush my teeth, shower, etc.  Well I step out of the shower and immediately step into..... pee.  On my bathroom rug. Apparently that is my dogs way of saying "no please dont go to work!".  I love my dog.... but WTF?

Ok so its time to get off here and get something done.

Its the day after Friday the 13th, aside from the Pens losing a second straight playoff game to the Flyers nothing really crazy happened on Friday the 13th.  I was very productive though so maybe thats what was creepy and off about the 13th lol.  I got a few new articles up, although nothing happened on this page (and it should have, I apologize to my loyal followers who don't exist yet.)  I will have loyal followers though... eventually this blog is going to be AWESOME.  Or maybe it will be RAD as one of my best friends would put it.  As for today I have a few hours before I head to work and I should attempt to be more productive this morning but after yesterday I am just not feeling it.

I am attempting to clean out my DVR right now by watching some of the many many shows that I have recorded and haven't found time to catch up on.  I actually have 12 episodes of more than one show to watch.  Yea, I am behind for sure.  I think I wish I could watch more TV than I actually can.

I have a feeling my night at work tonight is going to be very hectic, but since this blog is not work related I guess I won't get into that.  But I will say its going to be a late night.

I recently started writing for another website (yea I know just what I need.... another site!) But so far its been fun, a lot of collaborative work with other writers, it helps fuel my writing and lets some great debates start.  It of course is sports related because well lets face it, that's what I know. Go check it out The Daily Shootout. Maybe one day someone will stumble upon once of my many articles and posts and offer me some fantastic gig that will let me work on things I really enjoy.  Not that I don't like my day job because for the first time in a long time I actually do.  But who wouldn't want to write opinion pieces for great pay for a living?? Sign me up.

Crap I just realized that I need to get off here.  Keep your fingers crossed for the Pens to finally win a few games.

Today has been hectic and yet boring all at the same time.  How is that possible? Oh believe me it is.  I'm actually off today, but by being off from my full time paying job I am spending the day doing things around the house.  The highlight of my day so far has been taking the sheets off the bed and doing laundry.... so much laundry.  I don't know how on earth I have this much laundry.  Next on the agenda is washing the dishes that are stacked in my sink, mostly glasses because I am always walking around drinking something.  Then of course comes cleaning the bathroom, the rest of the kitchen, and then entire rest of the house.  How exactly is this a day off?

On the bright side me and my rotten little dog enjoyed a walk this morning around the block a few times.  She peed on everything.... well at least she tried to, after a few stops she was basically just pretending.  That walk refreshed me enough to sit down and get a little writing done, and by a little I do mean a little.... I am no where near finished with any of my projects, but they are all started.  I guess thats a good thing.  The funny thing is I have all these projects going and yet I am on here blogging about how busy I am.  HAHA I could be getting something off my list, but noooooo.  Okay, motivation here I come! I am going to actually get some things done.... after I check my email, facebook and twitter.....

I have decided on a new way to headline my posts.  The first number is the day from blog creation, the second number is the post that day.  So todays is 1.2  for day 1 and the 2nd post of the day.  That might all change tomorrow but right now it seems different and I like different.


I tried to take a nap after my previous post but my favorite little dog tried to sleep across my neck and well.... that made it hard for me to sleep.... and breath.  Then I thought we got things situated and I was almost asleep when she decided that she wanted to lick every single inch of my face, including my eyeball and up my nose.  At this point I realized that my nap was not going to happen.


Instead I was not productive at all and watched some horrible TV for a little while then headed to my parents house.  Today was my dad's 50th birthday!  We had a nice steak dinner and spent some quality time with most of my family.  One of my brothers was unable to make it since he is a new dad and well.... new dads and babies dont travel well. haha  If you would like to keep up with his adventures (and they are seriously great adventures) you can do so here Daily Adventures Of A New Dad.


Anyway, I hung out with the parents and my youngest bro for a bit and then headed home to try to get some writing done. (yes this counts as some writing)  I write for several online sites and also keep this blog and one other blog going, I actually enjoy doing it as a hobby and its starting to become somewhat profitable.  If anyone has suggestions on how to make it more profitable I am absolutely willing to listen. Then maybe I could retire from my day job and write full time! That would be GREAT!


Time to kick back, relax and catch the rest of the Pirates game.... lets hope they win! (they are losing at the moment 2-1)

New Day New Blog

So I am up at 7 am on my day off to go in to work.  Doesn't seem quite right, but it is what it is.  I am not sure why I am creating this blog, I guess its just going to be an outlet for me to say what I am thinking.  Don't worry I promise my thoughts will be entertaining.  This plan came to me in the middle of the night right after my dream about The Shining (which I have not seen or read in YEARS). I was going to keep my name a secret, ya know like a superhero?  I think that would have been fun for me, and an interesting little mystery for you all, but then I decided to leave it all out there in the open. Might as well.... maybe it will make me famous, in a good way of course haha.

I started this post this morning and wasn't done but had to head to work briefly for a meeting, so I am back to finish it now.  On my way home I stopped and got gas.... insane.  Pure and simple.  $45 and it didnt even fill my tank up.... as a matter of fact its not even close to being full.  This is going to make me feel old but I remember when gas was $1.05, that was when I was 16 and first driving.  I would stop and Uni Mart and buy a hot dog and a pepsi for more than a gallon of gas.  Wow, I just realized someone should have stopped me from eating hot dogs from Uni Mart. I was 16 and they tasted good.... now I see those things and I think.... POISON POISON!! Go figure.

I need a nap, so does my dog.  I think its about to be nap time at my house.  I have a lot of things planned for this evening, Its my dads 50th Birthday.... things could get crazy!
